Search Engine Optimisation
There are two parts to the optimisation aspects.
Code Optimisation
The code is the underlying programming that is used to build a website. Search engines make certain assumptions about how a website is built, expecting it to comply with a number of standards set out by the World Wide Web consortium (W3C).
Concept will ensure during the build of the new site that the code is fully ‘standard compliant’, meaning that the search engines will be able to index the site and also ensure that the site’s users are able to view the site in Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, Firefox and Safari as they all render websites differently. We will ensure that the site appears as expected in all these browsers
Content Optimisation
Driving traffic to the website is only half the story - the visitors that arrive at the site must be presented with a site that fully illustrates the services on offer and projects the quality of service provided.
Concept will analyse the website content and its potential visitor type to best optimise the content to suit its target customer range. The analysis will include both the textual content and the aesthetic qualities of the site, including its layout, images and overall look and feel.
What we provide as standard
As Concept will be consulting on the design and managing the build of the new website effectively from scratch then the optimisation element would be inclusive of the site build without additional cost. Concept’s policy is to build each website with search engine optimisation in mind and to ensure that the site is effectively prepared for the search engines analytical tools.
